Chicken Noodle Soup

the best easy and nutrient dense chicken noodle soup!

Ingredients
- (2 cups, shredded, could also use breast, thighs or tenders) Chicken Backs
- (1 tbsp) Rendered Pork Lard
- (8 cups) Pastured Chicken Bone Broth
- (chopped) 1 medium onion
- (chopped) 3 large carrots
- (chopped) 3 celery stalks
- (chopped) 1 cup potatoes
- (1 tbsp) Fresh Thyme
- (1 tbsp) Fresh Rosemary
- (minced) 4 cloves garlic
- (1 tsp) Tarragon
- salt and pepper to taste
- (we prefer egg noodles or Guardian Grains pasta) 12 oz dry noodles
Directions
Add lard, onion, garlic, celery, potatoes, and carrot to a dutch oven on medium heat. Cook until softened or about 7 mins. Add thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper and tarragon. Cook for another 2 mins, then add chicken and broth.
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 15 mins. Add noodles and simmer until noodles are soft. Add extra salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
