Sausage, Egg, Cheese & Bacon Quiche
(with a Flaky Lard Crust)

Ingredients
- (6) Free-Range Eggs
- (1/2 lb) Pork Bulk Breakfast Sausage
- (6 strips, cooked and crumbled) Pork Bacon (Smoked)
- (3/4 cup) Heavy Cream
- (1 Cup) Shredded cheese (cheddar, colby or swiss)
- (1/2 tsp) Salt
- (1/4 tsp) Black Pepper
- Optional add-ins: sautéed onions, spinach, or peppers.
Directions
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- ¾ cup heavy cream (or whole milk)
- ½ lb breakfast sausage, browned
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby, or Swiss)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Optional add-ins: sautéed onions, spinach, or peppers.
Assemble & Bake
- Spread sausage and bacon evenly in the pre-baked crust, see our Lard Pie Crust Recipe .
- Sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Whisk eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture over filling.
- Bake at 375°F for 35–40 minutes, until center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Rest 10–15 minutes before slicing.
Freezer Tip
Let cool completely, wrap tightly, and freeze. Reheat slices at 325°F until warmed through.
