Low Histamine Ground Beef - 85% Lean

~1 lb.

New! Unaged & Low Histamine!

All the rich flavor of our 85% lean ground beef... packaged and frozen within 6 days of harvest. Fresh, clean beef for families watching their histamine intake.

Why Low Histamine?

Histamine naturally builds up in meat as it ages. Most beef is aged for weeks before it ever reaches your freezer (ours included!). That’s great for flavor, but not so great if your body is sensitive to histamine. For folks managing histamine intolerance, fresher is better. This beef lets you enjoy real, nourishing ground beef without the extra histamine load.

How We Do Low Histamine

Speed is everything. Our cattle are harvested at a local, family-owned butcher shop, then packaged and frozen within 6 days (not the usual weeks). Freezing locks in freshness and stops histamine from building up. Same regenerative, grass-fed and finished beef you love. Just faster from pasture to freezer.

Tasty Family Inspiration

Perfect for tacos, chili, or our Guilt-Free Sloppy Joes recipe. For the lowest histamine, cook it straight from frozen! Pop the frozen block in a covered skillet over medium heat and scrape off the browned layers as it cooks. Making burgers or meatballs? Quick-thaw in cold water, shape, and cook right away.

Get More Nutrition

When you raise beef regeneratively, it's not only better for the planet, but it also packs more nutrition. Regeneratively raised beef can have up to 75% more nutrient density compared to conventional beef.

Save the Planet

Did you know? For every 1lb of beef raised regeneratively, about 3.5lb of carbon is sequestered. But, for every 1lb of conventional feedlot beef, about 26lb of carbon is emitted. Woah!

So, for each 1lb of Nourished by Nature regenerative ground beef you buy, you're sequestering 3.5lb of carbon right back into our soil. Way to be a changemaker!

Store and Thaw

Will last a year in the freezer. Cooking from frozen keeps histamine lowest. If you thaw, use a bowl of cold water (the fastest thawing method) and cook as soon as it’s ready. Eat leftovers within a day, or freeze them right away.
