Summertime Spare Ribs

This recipe uses a dry rub along with a sauce to combine flavors that offer a delicious meal for the whole family.

Ingredients
- (1 rack) Pork Spare Ribs
- (4 tbsp.) Brown Sugar
- (2 tbsp.) Masala Curry
- (1/2 tbsp.) Salt
- (1 tbsp.) Oregano
- (1 tbsp.) Chili Flakes
- (2 tbsp.) Tandoori Spice
- (1 tbsp.) Smoked Paprika
- (3/4 cup) Ketchup
- (1/4 cup) Brown Sugar
- (3 tbsp.) White Wine Vinegar
- (2 tbsp.) Minced Onion
- (2 tbsp.) Dijon Mustard
- (1/2 tbsp.) Tabasco Sauce
- (1/4 tsp.) Black Pepper
- (3 tbsp.) Scallions
- (1-1/2 tsp.) Lime Zest
- (1-1/2 tsp. ) Lime Juice
Directions
Thaw out the ribs. Cut the silver skin by scoring each rib bone with a knife and peel it off. In a mixing bowl, add the following ingredients: brown sugar, masala curry, salt, oregano, chili flakes, tandoori spice, and smoked paprika. Mix well, then spread the rub all over the ribs, front and back. Preheat the oven to 325F. Set the ribs on a sheet and cook for 1.5 hours. Before the ribs are ready to come out, mix together: ketchup, brown sugar, white wine vinegar, minced onion, dijon mustard, tabasco sauce, black pepper, scallions, lime zest, and lime juice. Pull the ribs out an slather them with the sauce. Cover and put back in the oven for 1 hour. Enjoy!
