Maple Grilled Ham

This traditional glazed ham recipe will have your family licking their lips at the dinner table this holiday season. If you're looking for a perfectly crispy and caramelized outside and a juicy, sweet inside on your centerpiece dish, you've landed on the one!
Ingredients
- (1) Pork Smoked Ham
- (2 Cups) Apple Cider or Apple Juice
- (1/2 Cup) Maple Syrup - Pint
- (2 Tbsp.) Dijon Mustard
- (10-15) Whole Cloves
- (2) Oranges
- (2 tsp.) Ground Cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven or grill to 325 degrees, gather ingredients and a large roasting pan for cooking.
- Thinly cut up orange slices, leaving the peels on. Lay in the bottom of the roasting pan.
- Peel the casing off of the ham and discard. Crosshatch the top of the ham about .5 in deep with a knife and place on top of orange slices. Put cloves into the crosshatched cuts and sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
- In a small bowl, mix the apple cider, maple syrup, and dijon mustard. Pour the mix over the ham and allow it to drain into the pan.
- Grill (or bake) at 325 degrees for approx. 2 hours or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 160 degrees.
- Remove from the heat source and let stand 20 minutes before carving.
