Maple Grilled Ham
This traditional glazed ham recipe will have your family licking their lips at the dinner table this holiday season. If you're looking for a perfectly crispy and caramelized outside and a juicy, sweet inside on your centerpiece dish, you've landed on the one!

Ingredients

  • (1) Pork Smoked Ham
  • (2 Cups) Apple Cider or Apple Juice
  • (1/2 Cup) Maple Syrup - Pint
  • (2 Tbsp.) Dijon Mustard
  • (10-15) Whole Cloves
  • (2) Oranges
  • (2 tsp.) Ground Cinnamon

Directions

  • Preheat oven or grill to 325 degrees, gather ingredients and a large roasting pan for cooking.
  • Thinly cut up orange slices, leaving the peels on. Lay in the bottom of the roasting pan.
  • Peel the casing off of the ham and discard. Crosshatch the top of the ham about .5 in deep with a knife and place on top of orange slices. Put cloves into the crosshatched cuts and sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
  • In a small bowl, mix the apple cider, maple syrup, and dijon mustard. Pour the mix over the ham and allow it to drain into the pan.
  • Grill (or bake) at 325 degrees for approx. 2 hours or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches 160 degrees.
  • Remove from the heat source and let stand 20 minutes before carving.
